An executive employee briefed the visitors on the company’s background and explained production, sales, and current product consumption and exports. The participants also toured 2 plants that produce different dairy products and listened to a technician talk about manufacturing plant and technical matters related to skyr.
(2)In addition to learning about dairy product manufacturing, participants also paid a visit to agricultural organizations to gather information from a wide range of fields, including agricultural administration, animal husbandry and product research in Iceland.

The mission members were able to directly obtain information from local experts and relevant individuals on a broad range of topics, including dairy product manufacturing and the production/sales/consumer consumption of milk products. The mission proved a success. The examination and research conducted on the possibility of adopting technologies related to skyr resulted in a positive outcome. In November, an informational seminar was scheduled to be held on the plausibility of adopting those technologies.
