KYUSHU Industrial Tour (FY2007)


Outline


This IIST Industrial Tour introduced economic industrial activities in the Kyushu area (Fukuoka, Saga, and Nagasaki Prefectures), visited companies and factories, exchanged opinions, and held social events with people such as representatives of industries and municipalities.

Overview


The feedback from the participating diplomats included comments, such as β€œthe program was a good first step to know the investment environment in Kyushu, not much information about the Kyushu area is directly sent to the embassy at present, and we would like more proactive promotion in regard to the potential of Kyushu in the future.” This program was expected to prompt further exchange of information and mutual cooperation between the countries of the participants and the Kyushu area.
